Tim joined the Rotary Club of Adelaide East in 1990 and was Club President in 1999 - 2000.  He was Chair of the District 9500 International Service Committee for 3.5 years and also served a year as an Assistant Governor.  In 2005, Tim was appointed a District Representative for ShelterBox Australia and in April 2017 he was appointed an Emeritus Ambassador in recognition of his long and distinguished service to ShelterBox.
 
Due to work commitments Tim transferred to the Rotary Club of Kidman Park in 2008 and then joined the Rotary Club of Coromandel Valley in 2014, after moving to Craigburn Farm.  Tim is currently Foundation Chairman of his Club.  He was appointed Assistant Governor for Group 6 in 2016 and is a Paul Harris Fellow with a Sapphire pin.
 
Tim is an Audiologist and has worked in both the public health system as a Senior Audiologist and also in private practice.  He set up the first private SA Audiology Clinic in 1981.  Tim retired in 2016, but still does occasional locum work.  He has done a number of trips to Tonga as a volunteer Audiologist, in both assessment and training roles.  Tim has served as State President of the Audiology Society of Australia; 6 years on the Federal ASA Executive and also on the Board of the Deafness Foundation (SA Branch).
 
Tim served in the Army Reserve for 16 years, both in the Australian Army Intelligence Corps and the Australian Army Cadet Corps.  He is a member of the Blackwood RSL.
 
Tim is married to Bronwyn, and together they have 5 children and 5 grandchildren.  Tim enjoys fishing and studying military history.
