From the District Governor
On March 12, the visiting Group Study Exchange (GSE) Team from District 6040 in Missouri was given a warm welcome at the Adelaide airport by District 9520 GSE Chair, Bruce Richardson and Kathy, and members of the GSE committee.
The team is a delightful group of Rotarians who are excited to meet other Rotarians from across our District, to learn more about their vocation and to see the sights of our beautiful country.
They have a full itinerary visiting various regions within our District while being hosted by the Rotary Clubs of Unley, Murray Bridge, Norwood, Mitcham, Campbelltown, both Broken Hill Clubs, and Alice Springs (9500).  The visit to Alice Springs will give the team a chance to see the great work of Sarah Brown’s team at Purple House as this exchange agreement also included a Global Grant partnership between Districts 9520 and 6040 in support of a dialysis clinic.
Rotarians will have an opportunity to meet the team at one of the four presentation evenings hosted by Groups of Clubs or at the Conference in Broken Hill where they will present on Sunday April 7.
With opportunities for us to also hear about Rotary in their District, this exchange reminds us how lucky we are to be part of a global community that continues to do good in the world.
Be the Inspiration!
