President Mark Cox and his team from the Rotary Club of Victor Harbor have put a lot of work, enthusiasm and energy into the organisation of the bike ride from Victor Harbor to Broken Hill to coincide with the start of the District Conference in April.  Dedicated Rotarians and volunteers will cycle 636 kilometres over 7 days with the aim of raising awareness and funds for mental health research through Australian Rotary Health.  I am encouraging all Clubs in our District to get behind this wonderful initiative by contributing funds to Australian Rotary Health through this event - the accompanying flyer provides further information about how to do this.  If you are traveling to Broken Hill for the Conference you might like to be part of the celebration that welcomes the riders in to Broken Hill when the ride concludes on Thursday April 4 - watch out for additional information to be provided in future issues of the Herald.
If you or someone you know is struggling with mental health issues, contact Lifeline on 13 11 14.
